B2B For SureCart

Turn your SureCart store into a customized or wholesale powerhouse!

New Features

We’re excited to announce the release of Catalog Mode for SureCart 1.1, packed with new features and improvements designed to give you even more control over your product pages and inquiry forms. Whether you’re using the default SureCart product pages or building your store with a different page builder, this update has something for everyone.

Compatibility With SureCart 3

In anticipation of the upcoming release of SureCart 3, we’ve proactively updated our plugin code to ensure seamless integration and smooth performance. We have done this for all our SurelyWP addons, so you can upgrade confidently, knowing your tools will continue to work smoothly with the next big version of SureCart.

Setting To Enable Catalog Mode On SureCart Product Pages

Now, you can easily switch to catalog mode directly from your SureCart product pages with the new setting. This is perfect for stores that want to display products without offering direct purchases, allowing customers to inquire instead.

Show Or Hide Elements In Any Page Builder With Custom CSS Classes

With the latest update, you can now control the visibility of specific elements on your product pages using custom CSS classes. This gives you even more flexibility when customizing your catalog mode setup and is especially useful for integrating with any page builder.

  • Hide Anything with CSS Class: You can hide any element containing the class surelywp-catalog-mode-hide on product pages, but only when the product is in catalog mode. This allows you to keep certain elements hidden from customers who are browsing in catalog mode.
  • Show Anything with CSS Class: Alternatively, you can choose to show elements with the class surelywp-catalog-mode-show exclusively when a product is in catalog mode, ensuring that specific content or elements only appear in this mode.

These options provide an easy way to customize your product page layouts in any page builder, depending on whether the product is available for direct purchase or inquiry only.

WordPress Block For Checkout Redirect Inquiry Form

If you’ve enabled catalog mode for all products and disabled direct purchasing, you can easily redirect customers from the SureCart checkout page to a custom inquiry form. We already offer the option to use a shortcode with our default inquiry form or even integrate a 3rd party form plugin. However, for those using the WordPress block editor, we’ve introduced a dedicated Inquiry Form block located in the SurelyWP section of the block editor.

Simply insert this block into the content of any page you’ve selected as your Checkout Redirect Page. Instead of the typical checkout process, customers will be prompted to submit an inquiry through this form, allowing for a more personalized interaction when catalog mode is active.

This block provides a seamless way to collect inquiries, making it easy to replace the checkout flow when using SureCart’s catalog mode.

Inquiry Button Block/Page Builder Integration To Trigger Inquiry Form Popup

For those using the block editor or any other page builder, integrating the inquiry button has never been easier. With the Gutenberg Button block, you can trigger the inquiry form popup by simply adding the class surelywp-catalog-mode-button in the Additional CSS Class field. This enables the button to function as a trigger, opening the inquiry form directly related to the product.

If you’re adding the inquiry button on a non-product page, you’ll need to take an extra step to ensure the correct product’s form appears. In this case, add two classes:

  • surelywp-catalog-mode-button
  • cm-product-id-{product_id}

Replace {product_id} with the actual product ID, which you can find by navigating to SureCart > Products and checking the URL of the individual product page. This ensures the inquiry form popup will display the correct product details when clicked.

With this integration, you can easily use any page builder, including Gutenberg, to create custom inquiry buttons without needing to rely on default product page layouts.

Shortcode For Inquiry Button Integration

If you’re not using SureCart’s default product pages but displaying your products on other pages or post types, you can now easily add the inquiry button with the shortcode [surelywp_catalog_mode_button]. This gives you the flexibility to place the inquiry button wherever you want, making it ideal for custom layouts built with page builders.

When using the shortcode on a non-product page, it’s important to include the product ID. This ensures that the correct product name appears in the inquiry form popup, providing a seamless experience for your customers. You can find the product ID by navigating to SureCart > Products and checking the URL slug of the specific product in your browser’s address bar.

Here’s an example of how the shortcode would look with a product ID:
[surelywp_catalog_mode_button product_id=”5420a0f8-06d0-491f-9fcf-987b838c406c”]

With this flexibility, you can customize how and where customers interact with your products, even if you’re not using the standard SureCart product pages.

Added TinyMCE Rich Text Editor And HTML Support In Inquiry Email Template Body

You now have full control over the content of your inquiry email template, thanks to the addition of the TinyMCE rich text editor and HTML support.

SureCart Brand Color Support

The inquiry form buttons will now automatically adapt to match your SureCart brand colors, replacing the default blue color to ensure visual consistency across your store.

SureCart Dark Mode Support

If you’re using SureCart’s dark mode, the inquiry form popup will automatically adjust to match (for supported themes), ensuring a seamless user experience.

Additional Improvements

  • The font in textareas has been updated for improved readability and a more consistent look.
  • A small but important UX improvement: the cursor will now change to a pointer when hovering over tabs, providing a clearer signal to users.
  • We’ve revised the descriptions for the inquiry form shortcode settings to provide more clarity and detail, making it easier to configure your forms.
