The Lead Magnets For SureCart plugin allows you to designate any SureCart product as a lead magnet by replacing the purchase buttons with a subscribe button and convenient popup form to collect the user’s email address. This process automatically skips the checkout and adds the digital download to their account!

The Lead Magnets For SureCart plugin allows you to use your existing SureCart ecommerce system by using products and their associated downloads as lead magnets. The plugin opens up the opportunity to connect the lead magnet customers to any email marketing tool using SureTriggers to share the captured info and manage your lists.

Set Up Your Lead Magnet “Products”
Our plugin takes advantage of all the normal SureCart product features like the title, description, images and especially the downloadable files, and makes them into lead magnets which can be downloaded by subscribing instead of purchasing.
Select Products As Lead Magnets
To start, you can choose which products should be designated as lead magnets. You can choose all products, specific products, or products in specific collections. (Keep in mind this only works for free products set to $0 as the price.)
Add Email Subscribe Button On Product Pages
Our plugin changes any free SureCart product of your choice into a lead magnet. When a product is designated as a lead magnet, the price and add to cart buttons are removed and replaced with an email subscribe button.Â
Customize The Button Text
Write your own text for the subscribe button to prompt visitors to sign up.
Use Shortcode To Display Email Optin On Other Pages
This incredible feature enables you to build your own marketing landing pages or product pages and still take advantage of the SureCart system for collecting leads. This opens up a whole new world of integration and convenience!
To do this, simply place the shortcode [surelywp_lead_magnet_button] anywhere in your content. However, keep in mind this shortcode will require a product ID parameter if used on a page that is not the SureCart product page. To find the product ID, go to SureCart>Products and select the individual product. The product ID will be shown in the URL slug in your browser address bar, something like https://yourdomain.com/surecart/wp-admin/admin.php?page=sc-products&action=edit&id=5420a0f8-06d0-491f-9fcf-987b838c406c. In this case, the product ID can be seen at the end of the URL clearly as 5420a0f8-06d0-491f-9fcf-987b838c406c. The shortcode in this case requires the “product_id” parameter and looks like [surelywp_lead_magenet_button product_id=5420a0f8-06d0-491f-9fcf-987b838c406c].
Capture Emails In Popup Optin Form
After clicking the subscribe button, a popup window opens with an email optin form to subscribe the visitor to your email marketing list. This feature provides a super convenient way for customers to contact the store owner.Â
Configure The Optin Form
You can choose whether to show the name field, use separate fields for first and last name, require the name, and customize the submit button text.
Message When Email Verification Is Used
If you have the email verification feature enabled (see below), the popup window will close and this message will display to inform the user that they will receive an email to confirm their subscription and complete the download.
Message For Existing Customers
If a customer who already has access to this product tries to subscribe to download it again, this message will display to inform the customer that they should log in to access the existing product download.
Verification Double-Optin Email
Our plugin provides the optional feature to require a verification email before the order is placed and before the customer is subscribed. After submitting the optin form, the customer must check their inbox and click the link to confirm their subscription. Clicking this verification link will process the order and redirect the customer to the account where they can download the resource.
Customize The Verification Email Template Subject And Text
You can enable or disable the verification double-optin email and customize the email subject line and text.
Access The Lead Magnet In The Customer Account
After the customer has submitted their email address, the customer will be automatically redirected to the Download tab in the SureCart Customer Dashboard. From here, the customer can click the individual download item to download the lead magnet resource from the individual download page. The download will always remain available in the customer account to access in the future.Â
Password Note:
For new customers without an existing account, SureCart handles this perfectly by creating the order without the account password, but then placing a reminder in the top of the Customer Dashboard to set a password.

Naturally, this plugin requires SureCart, but other than that, nope! This is a standalone plugin that adds user switching capabilities within the SureCart interface.
