We’re excited to announce the release of version 1.2 of our Toolkit For SureCart addon, packed with highly requested features to give you even more control over your SureCart store. This update includes custom admin columns, order management improvements, role-based login redirects, FluentCRM integrations, and a new way to enhance pricing options with descriptions.

External/Affiliate Products

Now you can create external or affiliate products in SureCart! This feature allows you to set a custom URL for any product, redirecting customers to an external website instead of the SureCart checkout. Perfect for affiliate marketers, external services, or linking to another storefront.

Fully Customize Customer Dashboard Tabs NEW

Now you can edit the SureCart Customer Dashboard tabs, hide tabs, reorder them, change their icons or text, and add new ones! This is a truly game-changing feature!

✅ Rename and Restyle Tabs – Customize tab names or icons (using Feather Icons) to streamline the dashboard experience.
✅ Hide Any Tab – Easily remove unnecessary tabs from the dashboard for a cleaner, more streamlined experience.
✅ Add New Tabs with Custom Content – Easily create new tabs and insert content using shortcodes or custom HTML, making it perfect for personalized dashboards.
✅ Turn Tabs into Links – Want a tab to redirect customers to another page? No problem! Simply switch the Tab Behavior setting to “Link to URL” and enter your destination.

This is one of the most requested enhancements for SureCart, and Toolkit for SureCart delivers it! Whether you’re fine-tuning the customer experience, simplifying navigation, or securing sensitive content, this feature gives you complete flexibility over the SureCart dashboard.

New Admin Columns Feature – Rename, Hide, or Add Columns

One of the biggest additions in version 1.2 is the Admin Columns feature, which allows you to customize the columns in the SureCart Orders and Products lists.

✅ Rename Column Labels – Adjust the column header labels to fit your preferences.
✅ Hide Unused Columns – If you don’t use certain data points you can hide them.
✅ Additional Columns Available – We have added four new column options to the Orders list and can add more as needed.

While we’re unable to reorder columns at this time, these improvements make the Orders and Products pages more user-friendly by letting you see only what matters most.

New Columns for the SureCart Orders List

Product Name Column – View Purchased Products at a Glance

We’ve added a Product Name column to the SureCart Orders list, making it easier to see which products were purchased at a glance—no need to open each order individually.

Subscription Type Column – Identify Payment Plans at a Glance

SureCart doesn’t currently differentiate between subscriptions and installment plans in the order list. With our new Subscription Type column, you’ll now see a “Payment Plan” badge if an order is part of an installment plan.

Trial Column – See Trialing Subscriptions Instantly

It has always been frustrating that there’s no easy way to tell if an order is in a trial period. Now, with the new Trial column, any order that is currently trialing will display a “Trialing” badge for quick visibility.

Recovery Status Column – Identify Recovered Abandoned Carts

If an abandoned cart is recovered using SureCart’s cart abandonment feature, there’s been no way to see that information—until now! The new Recovery Status column adds a “Recovered” badge, giving you valuable insight into how many abandoned carts are successfully converted into sales.

Invoice Column – Quick Access to Order Invoices

Need a faster way to access invoices? We’ve added an Invoice column that displays a Download Invoice button directly in the Orders list. Instead of clicking into each order’s details, you can now view, print, or download invoices in one click!

“Order Again” Button for Customer Dashboard

Reordering just got easier! We’ve added an “Order Again” button to the SureCart Customer Dashboard, making repeat purchases faster and more convenient. The button appears on each individual order in the customer’s order history. Clicking it will automatically add the same product configuration to checkout using SureCart’s “Buy Now” feature.

This small but impactful feature can increase repeat sales while improving the customer experience, and is especially useful for products that customers purchase frequently or on demand.

Custom Redirect For “Back Home” Button In The Customer Dashboard

We’ve added a setting to customize where customers go when clicking the “Back Home” button in the SureCart Customer Dashboard. Instead of always returning to the homepage, you can now set a custom URL that better fits your store’s navigation, such as going to the main Customer Dashboard, which is probably what users expect when clicking that button.

Retry Payment Option for Failed Orders

By default, if you need to manually retry a payment in SureCart, there is no option to do it from the actual failed order. You would need to navigate to the associated subscription and then click the 3 dots menu, and retry the payment from there, which is not ideal.

With Toolkit For SureCart 1.2, we’ve introduced a “Retry Payment” option directly in the Actions menu for any order with a failed payment. This allows admins to manually retry the payment without leaving the order screen.

Show “Recovered” Badge for Recovered Orders

The new “Recovered” Badge setting offers clear visibility into orders that have been successfully recovered from the abandoned checkout system. When enabled, this badge will appear on the order details page for any order that has been recovered, making it easier for admins to identify those purchases that were reactivated after being abandoned.

This simple yet effective feature helps store owners track the success of their abandoned cart recovery efforts and provides additional clarity in managing orders.

Role-Based Login Redirects

We already offer a custom login redirect feature, but this update takes it a step further with role-based login redirections. Now, you can set a different redirect URL for each user role when they log into the SureCart Customer Dashboard.

Unlike SureCart’s official PHP code tutorial (which only works for SureCart’s login page), our setting applies to both the SureCart login and the standard WordPress login, making it a more flexible solution. If both the custom login redirect and role-based login redirect are enabled, the role-based setting will take priority.

FluentCRM Contact Profile Buttons for Orders, Customers, and Subscriptions

If you’re using FluentCRM with SureCart, you can now quickly access customer profiles directly from common screens where it is most useful. A FluentCRM button is now available on individual order details, customer details, and subscription details pages. Clicking the button opens the corresponding FluentCRM contact profile.

Vacation Mode Notices for Support Tickets and Services

We’ve expanded our Vacation Mode feature to integrate with both our Support Portal For SureCart and Services For SureCart addons. If Vacation Mode is enabled, the vacation notice will now automatically display on support tickets or services. This ensures that customers are clearly informed when the store is temporarily closed.

Write And Display Descriptions for Each SureCart Price Option

We have created a powerful feature that allows you to write custom descriptions for each pricing option in SureCart. These descriptions appear on the frontend directly beneath each price. This feature provides additional clarity for customers, helping them understand the differences between pricing plans.

There is also a setting to control whether you show each description for all the pricing options at once, or only show the description of the currently selected option (as in the example screenshot below).
