Wholesale Product Restrictions

Enable Price Restrictions

To get started, first go to the Wholesale tab in the SurelyWP settings and enable the Enable Price Restrictions setting. This activates the ability to control pricing visibility for individual SureCart products.

Set Up Product Prices

Next, go to the SureCart product page and create multiple price options of your choice, such as “Consumer” and “Wholesale” with your desired configurations. These prices can then be restricted to show only for specific users.

Restrict Prices by User Role

Once you’ve added multiple prices to a product in SureCart, you’ll see a Price Restrictions section below the pricing area. Each price is listed with its label and amount, along with an option to restrict that price to specific user roles.

Enable the toggle for “Restrict Price To Specific User Roles,” and a field will appear to select which WordPress roles can see that price.

If no roles are selected, the price will remain hidden from all users. This is perfect for showing wholesale pricing only to approved roles like “Wholesale” or “B2B Customer.”

Restrict Prices by SureMembers Access Group

If the SureMembers plugin is installed and active, an additional setting will appear called Price Restrictions. Here you can choose whether to restrict product pricing by User Role or by SureMembers Access Group.
Once selected, the available restriction options below each price will change accordingly.

When SureMembers Access Group is selected, enable the toggle labeled “Restrict Price To Specific SureMembers Access Groups,” and select one or more groups that should be allowed to see that price.

This makes it easy to show special pricing to members of a subscription level or VIP club, without creating extra products or manual rules.

Enable Variant Restrictions

To get started, first go to the Wholesale tab in the SurelyWP settings and enable the Enable Variant Restrictions setting. This activates the ability to control variant visibility for individual SureCart products.

Restrict Variants by User Role

Once you’ve added variants to a product in SureCart, you’ll see a Variant Restrictions section when editing a product. Each variant is listed with its label. Here you can choose whether to restrict product variants by User Role or by SureMembers Access Group. 

Select the User roles as the Variation Restriction Method, then select the roles for each variant.

Restrict Variants by SureMembers Access Group

If the SureMembers plugin is installed and active, an additional setting will appear above in the SureCart plugin editor called Variant Restrictions. Here you can choose whether to restrict product variants by User Role or by SureMembers Access Group. Select the SureMemembers Access Group as the Variation Restriction Method, then select the Access Groups for each variant.

Enable Product Restrictions

Start by enabling the Restrict Entire Product feature globally in the plugin settings. Once enabled, you can choose where to apply restrictions.

Choose Which Products To Restrict

You have full control over choosing which products on your SureCart store to restrict:

• All Products – Automatically restrict every product in your store.
• Specific Products – Manually enable restrictions on selected products.
• Product Collections – Apply restrictions to entire collections at once.

This flexible approach gives you the freedom to tailor visibility based on your store’s structure and sales strategy.

Restrict Products by User Roles

Once you’ve chosen the products to restrict, you can enable the Select Specific User Roles For Product Restriction setting. This field allows you to select one or more WordPress User Roles. Only users who are logged in with those specific roles will be able to view the restricted products. If no role is selected, the product will not be visible to anyone.

Restrict Products By SureMembers Access Groups

If you have the SureMembers plugin installed, you will see the Restriction Method setting. In this case, you can choose to restrict products based on SureMembers Access Groups. This method enables you to restrict access to certain products for specific membership levels, providing additional control over who sees which products.
