Make It Easy For Customers to Save Their Favorite Products For Later
The Wishlist feature gives customers a simple way to save products they are interested in without committing to a purchase right away. Once enabled, customers can add products to their wishlist from product pages, shop pages, or other supported areas, then return to them later when they are ready to buy. You can enable and customize this experience from the Wishlist tab inside the Marketing for SureCart plugin.
Enable Wishlist on Products
From the Wishlist settings, you can control which products support wishlist functionality across your store. Choose to enable wishlists for all products, limit them to specific products, or apply them only to products within selected collections.
Optionally: Enable The Wishlist Features From The SureCart Product Page
If you prefer more granular control, wishlist functionality can also be enabled directly on individual SureCart product pages. This is useful when only certain products should support wishlists. When wishlist support is already enabled globally for all products, the per-product option is hidden automatically to avoid overlapping behavior.
Add To Wishlist On Product Pages
Once the Wishlist feature is enabled, customers can add products directly from the SureCart product page using an Add to Wishlist link. This gives shoppers an easy way to save products they are interested in without leaving the page or interrupting their buying flow.
If you are using SureCart’s default product pages, you can choose exactly where the Add to Wishlist link appears in relation to core product elements such as the title, price, description, or add to cart button. This allows the wishlist action to feel like a natural part of the product layout rather than an afterthought.
Use “Add To Wishlist” Feature In Any Page Builder!
For stores using custom layouts or page builders instead of the default SureCart product pages, the Add to Wishlist link can be placed anywhere using a shortcode or block. When used outside of a SureCart product page, the shortcode supports a product ID parameter to ensure the correct product is added to the wishlist.
Fully Customize The Wishlist Text
You can also control how the wishlist behaves after a product has already been saved. Choose whether customers see a View Wishlist link, a Remove from Wishlist option, or both, giving you flexibility over how much control and feedback is shown.
All wishlist-related text can be customized, allowing you to match your store’s wording, tone, and terminology across product pages.

Choose your preferred message and link options when viewing a product that is already added to the wishlist:

Add To Wishlist From The Shop Page
To make saving products effortless while browsing, the Wishlist feature can be enabled directly on the shop and product list views. When active, a heart icon appears on each product, allowing customers to add items to their wishlist with a single click.
This is especially useful for stores with larger catalogs or discovery-focused shopping experiences, where customers may want to quickly mark multiple products without opening individual product pages. Products are added to the wishlist instantly, helping customers browse freely while keeping track of items they are interested in.
Show Wishlist Tab In The Floating Cart
The Wishlist feature can also be displayed inside the SureCart slideout cart, giving customers quick access to their saved products while reviewing their cart or preparing to check out. This keeps wishlist items always readily visible when purchase intent is already high.
By placing the wishlist alongside the cart, customers can easily move saved items into the cart or revisit products they were considering, creating a smoother path from saving to purchasing without disrupting the checkout flow.
Manage And Share Wishlists
The wishlist page gives customers a clear, organized view of all the products they have saved. From this page, customers can review their wishlist at any time and decide when they are ready to move items into the cart.
Products can be added directly to the cart from the wishlist, making it easy to continue the purchase without navigating back to individual product pages. Customers can also remove products they no longer want with a single click.
Each wishlist item displays important product details such as pricing and stock status, helping customers make informed decisions at a glance. Product names link directly to the main product page for quick access to full details.
Share Your Wishlist On Social Media Or By URL
Wishlists can be easily shared via a public link or social media, making them useful for gift ideas, planning future purchases, or sharing recommendations with others.
Show A Wishlit Tab In The Customer Dashboard
For logged-in customers, the Wishlist feature can be added as a dedicated tab inside the SureCart Customer Dashboard. This provides a familiar and centralized place for customers to manage their saved products alongside their orders and account information.
From the dashboard, customers can review their wishlist, add products to the cart, or remove items entirely without leaving their account area. This creates a more integrated experience and makes it easier for customers to return to saved products over time.
Wishlist Email Notifications
The Wishlist feature includes optional email notifications designed to re-engage customers after products have been saved. These emails help bring customers back to items they showed interest in, even if they did not purchase right away.
Reminder emails can be sent after a configurable number of days to encourage customers to revisit their wishlist. Price drop notifications can alert customers when a product in their wishlist is discounted, giving them a timely reason to return and complete their purchase.
Email subjects and content can be fully customized, and dynamic variables allow product details, pricing, and links to be inserted automatically.
Wishlist Reminder Email
Send a reminder after a specific number of days to anyone who has added an item to the wishlist. Easily customize the email subject and body, and use variables to show dynamic data such as the product names and links.
Product Price Change Email
Notify potentials customers any time the price of a product in their wishlist is changed to a lower price in hopes they will purchase the product. The subject and body text can be fully customized, and variables are used to show the product name, link, old price, and new price.

The Wishlist feature nicely complements the Save For Later feature by offering a place for customers to track products they plan to buy in the future. While Wishlist is ideal for long-term planning and remembering favorites, Save For Later handles short-term decisions directly in the cart.
